This test method is strongly developed and is therefore used in an increasing number of situations, e.g. the following applications:<\/p>\n<div class='content-column one_third'><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-597\" src=\"http:\/\/tiat.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IR_0689.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tiat.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IR_0689.jpg 640w, https:\/\/tiat.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/IR_0689-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p><\/div>\n<div class='content-column two_third last_column'><div style=\"padding-left:15px;\"><ul>\n<li>Aviation water entrapment;<\/li>\n<li>Delamination of composites;<\/li>\n<li>Electrical systems;<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div><\/div><div class='clear_column'><\/div>\n<p>Almost every object (for example: buildings, vehicles, installations, measurement\/control boxes, etc.) emits infrared radiation that can be recorded with an infrared camera. From this registration, the temperature can be determined and made measurable. The accuracy of the measurement is an important factor, this is called the emission factor (&#8216;e). The emission factor is defined as the ratio between the actual temperature and the temperature as measured by the infrared detector in the infrared camera.<\/p>\n<div class='content-column two_third'><div style=\"padding-right:15px;\"><p>Thermography has the advantage that the temperature can be measured through a contactless measurement and recording of the infrared radiation image. This is often used as an inspection tool in construction, electrotechnical installations and mechanical engineering installations.
